Children’s Art Classes
Welcome to a new term of children’s art classes for Spring 2024.
Registration is open for the 2024 Spring term of Children’s Art Classes in Glounthaune, Midleton & Glanmire starting from Monday January 22nd 2024 (start dates vary per location).
I am a fully insured and Garda vetted Art Tutor who has been working with children and adults for over 16 years. During a thirteen-week term, we will do drawing and painting, incorporating landscape, still life and figurative (cartoon) content. We will use various materials, including colouring pencils, crayons, and poster paint among others. We will cover various aspects of art including the mixing of primary and secondary colours and perspective, and explore the work of a famous artist. Course content will always be new for each term.
I will observe COVID-19 Safety Regulations, social distancing, and sanitization, if required, and I may wear a mask (See COVID-19 Guidelines).
Following COVID-19 guidelines, materials should not be shared. For this reason, each child must have their own individual art pack containing a 2B pencil, eraser, sharpener, packet of crayons and colouring pencils in a clear plastic package marked with their name, for sale at €5.00.
Art packs obtained for previous courses can be reused, or if you wish, you may create your own pack clearly marked with your child’s name, containing the above materials. However, all art packs must be left in class each week for the duration of the course as they may be sanitised after use.
All other materials including paper, paints, brushes and art palettes will be supplied.
The attached COVID-19 Guidelines must be carefully read and approved prior to payment.
Pricing & Payments
Term: €156.00 Term + Art Pack: €161.00
All payments are non-refundable and must be made in full before the term starts. Students will not be able to attend any classes until full payment has been received. By making payment and registering for these art classes, you are agreeing to the attached COVID-19 Guidelines.

Glounthaune National School (SNCN) on Mon or Wed, 13 weeks
Start Dates: 22/1/2024 (Mon) or 31/1/24 (Wed)
Jnr & Snr Infants: 1.40-2.30 pm
1st – 6th Class: 2.55-3.55 pm
My Place Hall, Midleton on Tuesdays, 13 weeks
Start Date: 30/1/24
Senior Infants – 2nd Class: 3.30-4.30 pm
3rd – 6th Class: 4.40-5.40 pm
The Pike Hall, Glanmire on Thursdays, 13 weeks
Start Date: 1/2/24
Senior Infants – 2nd Class: 3.00-4.00 pm
3rd – 6th Class: 4.10-5.10 pm
Parents/Guardians must read and approve the COVID-19 Art Class Guidelines (linked above) with payment before classes begin.
